Frequently Asked Questions

Expert Answers for Investors

Clear, transparent answers about the Greek Golden Visa program and our services.

What is the minimum investment required?

The Greek government recently established two tiers. You can invest €250,000 in emerging areas (like Piraeus and the mainland) or €800,000 in prime areas (like Athens Center, Mykonos, Santorini, and Thessaloniki).

Do I need to live in Greece to keep the visa?

No. Unlike many other European programs, the Greek Golden Visa has absolutely zero minimum stay requirement. You only need to visit once to provide your biometrics.

Does the visa cover my family?

Yes. The main applicant can include their spouse, children under 21 (sometimes up to 24 if enrolled in university), and in some cases, the parents of both the applicant and spouse.

Can I work in Greece with a Golden Visa?

The Golden Visa does not automatically grant you the right to employment in Greece. However, you are permitted to own a business or be a shareholder in a Greek company.

How long does the process take?

Typically, the entire process—from selecting a property and finalizing the purchase to submitting the application and receiving your residence permit—takes between 3 to 6 months, depending on the region and bureaucracy.
